Deep Fin will Advance The Phylogeny of Fishes -- A Research Coordination Network

Our goal is to facilitate communication among systematic ichthyologists and theoreticians from all over the world with expertise in (i) morphology and molecular data for Recent and fossil taxa; (ii) bioinformatics; and (iii) the methods and theory of data and phylogenetic analysis.

A group of systematic ichthyologists has submitted a grant proposal to the National Science Foundation (USA) in June 2004 to seek funding for DeepFin activities. The following links provide information about this proposal:
